Surfactant
The organic compounds which contain both, hydrophobic group and hydrophilic group are known as surfactants. The hydrophobic group doesn’t like water is it is repelled by whater whereas hydrophilic group is attracted towards water and so when both the groups combine, they enable to form different structures.
